"Allen West has voted against the interest of middle class Americans again and again, but this - his seventh vote against the payroll tax extension - is a simple betrayal of the vast majority of the constituents that he is supposed to be serving. This was a bipartisan bill that not only protected the middle class and the overall economic health of our country, but also provided unemployment benefits and protections for doctors who treat Medicare patients. West's vote, coupled with his vote against the STOCK Act earlier in the week, shows his commitment to the people of Florida is hollow."
